Outgrowing a home is a pain point that we often hear about from clients. And in today's real estate market, sometimes it makes more financial sense to rework the space rather than purchase a new home. We're currently working to help a family convert their garage into a master bedroom with an en suite bathroom and separate laundry room. This will give us an opportunity inside the home to knock down a couple of interior walls, rework the kitchen, and open the space up for the family. And they’re able to do all of this for much less money than you’d imagine! Without these renovations, the family would need to move, which would mean giving up the neighborhood that they love. As we all know, Fort Collins real estate prices make it challenging for people to find a new home in certain neighborhoods. Now they can continue to live in the home that they love for much longer than they had thought.

​In the kitchen example below, we removed a non-load-bearing wall that was dividing the kitchen and the living room. This allowed us to completely re-work the layout of the kitchen, add an island with a sink, and create a beautiful and much more functional space than what existed before. And let’s be real – it’s stunning!
