Our first tip: Don’t skimp on a mirror. Instead, choose a unique and aesthetically pleasing mirror to add character and functionality to the room. Plus, if it is a small bathroom, like a powder room, a mirror can add depth, making the room appear larger and brighter overall! 

Along with your mirror, lighting is another extremely important factor when redesigning your bathroom. A light that is too large, too dim, or too bright will not do your space any favors. Hang lights (we love sconces!) beside or above your vanity mirror to avoid overpowering the space.

​If sconces aren’t your thing, find fixtures that you love and are the right size for your bathroom, especially if it is a smaller area. Everything, from light fixtures to towel bars, should be the correct proportion for your bathroom to avoid oversized hardware that can look out of place.

With that said, we’d be lying if we said we didn’t also love a dramatic and dark powder room for an extra touch of glamour! ;)
